„Renewable Energies 2010“ Growth through predictable innovation

Innovations are a key factor in keeping the renewable energies sunrise industry in Germany competitive long term. This is the ConMoto Consulting Group’s central message at the first Handelsblatt annual conference Erneuerbare Energien 2010 (Renewable Energies 2010) on 30 and 31 August in Berlin. ConMoto is presenting the “predictable innovation” concept at the conference. This event offers the opportunity for an exchange of opinions and experiences between manufacturers, operators, service providers and investors, as well as representatives from the worlds of science and politics. On the first day of the event, in a lecture in the issue of “Plannable Innovation”, ConMoto will focus attention on a decisive area that is currently neglected. This can be shown in that only 1.7 per cent of the solar industry’s turnover went into research and development in 2008. This is well below the average in other sectors and it is a warning signal in terms of future international competitiveness.
