ConMoto partner of Infrastructure Summit 2012

The ConMoto Consulting Group is one of the partners of the Infrastructure Summit 2012, which is taking place in Berlin on 28 and 29 February. The event, hosted by the Handelsblatt newspaper, is bringing representatives from politics and business together to discuss the further development of infrastructure in Germany for the third time. One central issue this year is the convergence of the networks for energy, transport and telecommunications.
Dr.-Ing. Ralf Feierabend, Managing Shareholder of the ConMoto Consulting Group, will be giving a keynote speech on the issue “How much infrastructure can we afford?” in the EUREF-Gasometer on 29 February. You will find further information on the conference here.
Automotive Lean Production 2011 on 22-23 November in Munich
“Learn from the best!” – that’s the motto of the Automotive Lean Production Awards, presented every year by the trade journal Automobilproduktion in cooperation with Agamus Consult, a subsidiary of the ConMoto Consultung Group. Prizes are awarded to the best performers in the five categories “International SME”, “International Group”, “OEM”, “Excellent Overall System” and “Best Value Creation Chain”. The winners of the prestigious prize are the victors from a field of businesses that have adopted the European benchmark in lean production.
This year the awards ceremony and accompanying congress Automotive Lean Production 2011 is taking place in the BMW World Munich on 22 and 23 November 2011. Dr. Herbert Diess, the BMW member of the board responsible for purchasing and supplier networks, will open the conference. Dr. Shuhei Toyoda, CEO & President Toyota Boshoku Corporation, will speak as the main supplier lecturer.

2011 BME Trendscouting Prize for Sebastian Wölfi

The Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik (BME, or German Association Materials Management Purchasing and Logistics) has awarded Sebastian Wölfls bachelor’s degree work with the BME Trendscouting Prize for its “pioneering character and practical orientation”. The BME has rewarded innovative logistics work with this prize since 2007. In 2011 people in employment were also able to participate alongside students for the first time. The BME Trendscouting Prize is supported by the ConMoto Consulting Group. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas R. Voegele, Member of the BME Executive Board and Managing Partner of the ConMoto Consulting Group and other members of the jury presented Wölfl the prize on the occasion of the 8th Network Forum Logistics in Cologne.
The Japanese crisis is just one example of how sensitively global supply chains react to disruptions. As before, in some companies there is great indifference when dealing with risks along the supply chain. Some necessary measures are not initiated or are only done so too late. In his study “Recommendations for action in supply chain risk management”, Sebastian Wölfl (Munich University of Applied Sciences) analysed how companies and suppliers can reduce joint risks by simulating selected scenarios from the consumer goods industry. read more [...]
“One-Stop-Shop” for maintenance specialists and plant operators

Abu Dhabi, January 2011 – ConMoto Consulting Group is the main sponsor of the 4th Annual Summit “Plant Maintenance in the Middle East” initiated by the World Refining Association in Abu Dhabi from 16th to 19th January 2011. „Renewable Energies 2010“ Growth through predictable innovation

Innovations are a key factor in keeping the renewable energies sunrise industry in Germany competitive long term. This is the ConMoto Consulting Group’s central message at the first Handelsblatt annual conference Erneuerbare Energien 2010 (Renewable Energies 2010) on 30 and 31 August in Berlin. ConMoto is presenting the “predictable innovation” concept at the conference. This concept makes innovation processes both efficient and transparent while allowing them to be measurable and repeatable.
